A collaboration that is been in the performs since early 2020 will materialize this summer time with the launch of Jacquemus x Nike.
The collab sees French style designer Simon Porte Jacquemus link with the Swoosh for what is explained to be a 15-piece assortment such as attire and footwear. It is rooted in womenswear and is tied to Nike’s “50 for her” 50th anniversary campaign. The highlight of the assortment is an unseen sneaker based all over the Humara, but Vogue shared a series of moodboard-like photographs explained to encourage the assortment which include the ACG Zion Low from 1995.
“For this collaboration with Nike, I required to create a collection that reinterprets athletic women’s sportswear in a small way,” the designer, who started operating with Nike on the collab in February 2020, said in a press launch. “I have normally been motivated by vintage ACG parts and Nike campaigns from the ’90s. Getting this imagery in intellect, we made women’s athletic dress in with sensuous facts and neutral hues, alongside with my individual interpretation of the Humara, my favored Nike shoe. It was critical for the selection to be obtainable for all bodies, and to be a all-natural mix of Jacquemus design and style and Nike efficiency.”
The full Jacquemus x Nike assortment will release June 28 solely on jacquemus.com followed by a launch at select Nike merchants later in the summertime.
