Each year, my mom, sisters and I try to plan a girls weekend away to spend time together and relax. Last year, we visited Asheville, NC and loved it. We visited during the fall, and just loved the seasonal and festive vibe and activities. We wanted a similar experience this year, so we decided upon Jackson Hole, specifically Jackson, WY. With my collection for Splendid LA launching a little less than a month ago, it was the perfect place to wear all the new pieces like the waist-tie coat, cashblend coatigan and turtleneck sweater. The day before we arrived there was a blizzard so I’m so glad we had the right outfits and footwear planned!

Where To Stay
Four Seasons Resort and Residence Jackson Hole
We had such a wonderful experience her, and I would highly recommend. They have multiple restaurants on site, and we very helpful in organizing outings and dinners for us!
What To Do
Getting to know the area (thanks to my friend who lives in Jackson for a lot of these recommendations)
• Downtown Jackson (“Jackson” or “town” to locals) The heart of the valley. Convenient for shopping, dining, and entertainment. The famous antler arch town square.
• Teton Village (Ski resort area) The hub of action in the winter. There are a handful of restaurants and spas within the larger hotels. Locals call this “the village
3 Spear Ranch Horseback Riding Tour
Four Seasons Sunset Wildlife Safari (4 Guests): This was a private tour in an SUV where we got to see wildlife throughout the area. It was so cold and very snowy, so we were thankful to have this tour guided on wheels! If you are not staying at the Four Seasons try Eco Tour Adventures (my friend recs this one).
Four Seasons Spa: A morning at the spa is always a good idea, especially on a girls trip!
National Museum of Wildlife Art
Shopping in the Town Square
Astoria Hot Springs
Hiking throughout the area.

Winter Activities (non-skiing)
Dog Sledding – there are two trip options. One to Granite Hot Springs (sled, dip, lunch, sled back) the other is north of the Jackson area on Togwotee Pass.
Snowmobiling – several trip options here. You can ride into Yellowstone, to Granite Hot Springs, out in the open in several areas. You can also SnowCoachinto Yellowstone to see Old faithful, the bison etc if you don’t want to snowmobile.
Elk Refuge Sleigh Ride – this is a sleigh ride through the National Elk Refuge up close and personal with the Elk that come down to feed and winter.
Snow Tubing at Snow King. Ice Skating at Teton Village.
Hot Springs – there are 2 main areas to take a dip. Granite Hot Springs – by snowmobile, dog sled, or ski. There is also Astoria Hot Springs a short drive south of the town of Jackson which has several dipping pools and a cold plunge.
Snowshoeing and Cross Country Skiing – there are a ton of trails in the park area for this including the main park road. One of the easiest to access. This map also lists other areas to explore. You can rent skis by the day at Skinny Skis, Hoback Sports and Teton Mountaineering.
Shopping And Art Galleries – The Town square is one of the best places to shop including a few blocks in any direction. Made, Roam, Stio Studio, Mountain Dandy, Altitude, The Bookstore, and more. There are a couple of cute shops on “the west bank” and an area of the Village Road called The Aspens (Nest, M, Book Gallery).
And there is an art gallery at every turn. They are great for exploring (Tayloe Piggot, Altamira and Heather James for starters).
The Wildlife Art Museum also deserves a shoutout as an excellent place to wander and grab food at Palette.
TRANSPORTATION NOTE:
• Taxis. Plenty of Uber and Lyft Options but its best to schedule with a local taxi company for specific timing.
• It’s ideal to have a rental car to get to some of these activities. Your hotel has a shuttle but mostly for getting to/from the airport and Teton Village.
