I love Holiday gift sets. They are a good way to try products from a favorite brand or a totally new brand you want to try. When I first saw the Westman Atelier Petal Holiday Edition Holiday Gift Set I was excited. I already have the Petal blush in my collection and use it regularly. That’s why it made sense for me to buy the highlighter and lip balm that this set is offering. So I decided to give this a try.
The Sephora website says that this is a “A clean, high-performance makeup set featuring a limited-edition trio with a blush, highlight, and lip balm in Petal—the rosy fan-favorite shade.”
Packaging Of The Westman Atelier Petal Edition Holiday Gift Set
The products come packaged in a beautiful gold box. Once you open the box you will see the highlighter, lip-gloss and blush. The blush and the highlighter have a magnetic closure with a twist up mechanism and the lip-gloss has a screw top. The packaging is like their regular packaging but a bit different as well. The blush included in this set comes in a gold tube. And the lit up highlighter stick comes in a black and gold tube. Also the lip gloss has a gold wand.

These products are vegan, gluten-free, cruelty-free, and come in recyclable packaging. The Lit Up Highlight Stick has Vitis Vita Grape Extract that visibly firms, boosts moisture, and removes impurities. The Baby Cheeks Lip and Blush Stick has Berryflux Vita that boosts hydration and preserves youthful-looking skin. Lastly the Squeaky Clean Liquid Lip Balm has Jojoba, Almond, and Argan Oil Blend which hydrates and softens the lips.

My Experience
I am into minimalist looks these days and love this set. The shade Petal in the Baby Cheeks Lip and Blush Stick has been a favorite for a long time. It is a beautiful rose shade. It stays on me for about 6 hours. I do not like it on my lips though. Even though it starts fading after 6 hours it fades evenly. Not the best staying power for a cream blush, but I have combination skin as well. If you have dry skin this might last longer on your skin.
The Lit up Highlight Stick is a cool toned pink shade with a glowy finish. You can use this on your cheeks, eyes and lips. I enjoy using this as a highlighter on my face, for a dewy look. I do not like it on my eyes just because I am not a fan of glossy eyeshadows. One thing to note is that in the tube this looks purple, mauve but goes on almost clear rosy pink.
The Squeaky Clean Liquid Lip Balm will provide you with a sheer wash of color. I wish this had more pigment. I love the formula but I hope they add more pigmented shades.
